Proteus FX

The Proteus FX is a 1U rackmount sound module featuring 8MB of digital samples modeled after the Proteus 1 (Pop/Rock) and Proteus 2 (Orchestral) sound sets, with the addition of the Proformance grand piano sample. It offers rich solo and ensemble strings, woodwinds, drums and percussion, guitars, basses and synth sounds aimed at pop, rock, jazz and symphonic composition and performance. A budget-oriented member of E-mu's Proteus family from the early-to-mid 1990s.
