The 30th Anniversary Proteus 1000 is a slimmed-down version of the Proteus 2000. Polyphony was reduced to 64 voices, MIDI channels to 16, with only 2 audio outputs and no digital output. It shipped standard with the Composer expansion ROM. Marketed as an E-MU "30th Anniversary" model in the Proteus 2000-family of sound modules.
