Crescendo

Crescendo

1990

Euphonix's first product (1990) and the first commercially successful large-format digitally controlled analog mixing console. A Z80/MDAC-based control surface drove a remote analog audio mainframe, introducing motorized faders, flat-panel displays, and an on-screen real-time EQ curve. The first unit was delivered to Poolside Studios, San Francisco.
