Xtreme Lead XL-1

The Xtreme Lead-1 (XL-1) is a slimmed-down member of E-MU's Proteus 2000 family, aimed at dance, techno, and electronica producers. It ships standard with the X-LEAD sound ROM and introduces SuperBEATS mode for triggering tempo-synced loops and grooves. Compared to the full Proteus 2000 it has reduced polyphony and fewer audio outputs, but can be brought up to full Proteus 2000 spec via the 9190 turbo upgrade kit (the factory-upgraded version being the XL-1 Turbo).
