Proteus/1 XR

The Proteus/1 XR is the expanded-RAM ("XR") version of E-MU Systems' Proteus/1 16-bit ROM-based sample-playback sound module. It adds RAM for storing an additional 192 user presets and shipped with 128 new presets, of which 64 of the ROM presets were duplicated in RAM. Built on the General MIDI-oriented Proteus/1 4MB pop/rock sound set, it offers 32-voice polyphony across 16 MIDI channels.
