The E-MU Orbit-3 is a dance/techno-oriented sound module sharing the same technical platform and architecture as the Proteus 2000, but populated with different sound ROMs. It shipped standard with the Techno Synth Construction Yard and Beat Garden expansion ROMs, offering 128-voice polyphony, Z-Plane filters, and SuperBEATS mode for beat/loop construction.
