Modular

1973

The E-mu Modular System is an analog modular synthesizer E-mu built to order in the early-to-mid 1970s. Sold as custom configurations of oscillators, filters, and a sophisticated microprocessor-scanned keyboard, it competed with the Moog and ARP modulars and established E-mu's reputation; its digital keyboard-scanning and chip work fed directly into the later Emulator and E-mu's OEM business.
