Launch-Pad
1996
The E-MU Launch-Pad Performance Controller (model 7777, ~1996) is a hardware MIDI control surface — not to be confused with the later Novation Launchpad. Designed to partner E-MU's Orbit and Proteus modules, it offers an octave of velocity-sensitive drum pads with wide transpose range, five programmable sliders, pitch/mod controls, six latchable trigger buttons, footswitch/expression inputs, a MIDI clock source, and MIDI Machine Control transport buttons in a heavy steel chassis.
