Calibrate Realtime Controls (Wheels, Pedal, Slider, Keyboard Pressure)

Symptoms this guide addresses

  • Controllers (wheels, pedal, pressure) do not work well
  • Data slider, volume slider, wheels or pedal do not work well
  • Emulator III drifts out of tune or pitch wavers
  • EIII seems to drift in pitch
  1. Activate Master module.
  2. Select 8. Special, 3. Recalibrate.
  3. Select the controller to be recalibrated (e.g., Data Slider, Volume Slider, Left Wheel, Right Wheel, Pressure, Foot Pedal) and press ENTER.
  4. Hold the control at the minimum position and select/verify the minimum desired value, then press ENTER.
  5. Hold the control at the maximum position and select/verify the maximum desired value, then press ENTER.
  6. If recalibrating the Left Wheel, vary the wheel to select the center desired value, then press ENTER.
  7. Vary the control to check the range (should be 0 to 255), then press ENTER.
  8. Press Yes to save the calibration or No to cancel. The EIII will automatically advance to the next controller.
