SCSI Hard Disk Setup ( Formatting )

  1. Ensure the E5000 and SCSI device are turned OFF.
  2. Connect the SCSI cable. Set the SCSI ID of the device to a number other than 6.
  3. Turn ON the external device and the E5000.
  4. Press the Disk button. If the disk icon does not appear, verify connections and SCSI ID.
  5. In the Disk Browser, press the Utils soft key.
  6. Select Format.
  7. Press OK to confirm (WARNING: Erases all data).
  8. Wait for formatting to complete.
