Darwin

1996

The E-mu Darwin (1996) is an 8-track digital hard-disk recorder — E-mu's entry into tapeless multitrack recording. It records 16-bit audio to internal or external SCSI drives with non-destructive editing, ADAT optical and balanced analog I/O, and SMPTE sync. It is a standalone studio recorder rather than a sampler or synth.
