The E-MU B-3 is a slimmed-down version of the Proteus 2000 sound module, dedicated to organ sounds via its Definitive B-3 expansion sound ROM. Polyphony was reduced to 64 voices, MIDI to 16 channels, with only 2 audio outputs and no digital output. With the Turbo upgrade kit it can be brought up to full Proteus 2000 specifications.
