The E-MU 1820 is a 2004 Digital Audio System comprising a 1010 PCI card and an external table-top AudioDock breakout box linked by a shielded CAT5 cable. It offers 24-bit/192kHz audio with two combo mic/line/guitar preamps, six balanced line ins, eight balanced line outs, a built-in RIAA phono preamp, ADAT and S/PDIF I/O, dual MIDI, and a hardware E-DSP effects/mixer engine controlled by PatchMix DSP. It sits below the mastering-grade 1820M.
