The E-MU 1212M is a professional PCI (later PCIe) audio/MIDI interface and DSP card in E-MU's Digital Audio System range. It offers two balanced 1/4" analog ins/outs, ADAT optical (switchable to S/PDIF) up to 24-bit/192kHz, coaxial S/PDIF (switchable to AES/EBU), and MIDI, driven by the E-DSP engine and PatchMix DSP mixer. The 'M' denotes mastering-grade converters (~120dB) using the same high-end A/D chips as Digidesign's Pro Tools HD 192.
