Xerxes MK1
2020–2022
Xerxes MK1 is Black Corporation's first version of Xerxes, an 8-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer that recreates the Italian Elka Synthex (1981). Each voice uses two digitally-controlled analog oscillators and a multimode analog filter, with modern conveniences such as MIDI, preset memory and microtuning. It shipped in January 2020 and was later succeeded by the MK2.
