Microprocessor-controlled (Motorola 68B09) polyphonic multitimbral analog synth — designed by ARP 1979–1980, then sold to CBS during ARP's liquidation and produced as the Rhodes Chroma (1982–1984). 16 channels of VCO+filter+amp, 64 velocity-sensitive wooden keys.

OverviewThe ARP Chroma, developed in ARP's final years, was a computerized polyphonic synthesizer completed by Rhodes after ARP's bankruptcy. This advanced instrument offered 16-voice polyphony, touch-sensitive controls, and computer-based voice architecture. The Chroma was later marketed as the Rhodes Chroma.
