TheYamaha DTX seriesis a range ofelectronic drum kitsand percussion controllers manufactured by theYamaha Corporation. They currently cover levels from beginner to professional. DTX kits usesamplingfor their sounds, meaning each kit has built-in digital recordings of realdrums, and cymbals. When the drum or cymbal pads are hit, thedigital recordings(orsamples) are played back to replicate what is being played.
