The Stam Audio Stam-Level is the most accurate sounding replica of the vintage Gates Sta-Level vari-mu tube compressor. Uses historically correct size Sowter transformers (UK-made) for the magical huge low end the original is known for. US-made choke, NOS European tubes, and a linear power supply that precisely replicates the unique low end and THD. Packed with 8 tubes: matched NOS 6BA6s, matched 6V6s, 12AT7, 0B2, 5Y3GT, and 6AL5. Extra features: dry/wet blend, 3-position sidechain HPF, drive knob with 1dB increments, true bypass. Original VU meter and knobs, 3U faceplate. Calibrated with 72-hour burn-in. Hand made in Chile.
