The Stam Audio SA-76ADF rev2 refines their three-revision 1176 compressor with component upgrades and circuit improvements. This revision maintains switchable access to Rev A (Bluestripe), Rev D, and Rev F voicings while offering enhanced reliability and sonic authenticity. The rev2 incorporates upgraded transformers and refined FET circuitry for improved performance across all three modes. The ability to switch between 1176 revisions makes this compressor extraordinarily versatile—Rev A for aggressive drums, Rev D for classic vocal compression, and Rev F for clean mix bus limiting. The rev2 improvements bring each mode closer to the behavior of well-maintained vintage units. (Discontinued — superseded by SA-76+)
