The Stam Audio SA-4000 MK3+ is the legendary stereo bus compressor replica featuring both the Neve and API mods — six compressors in one unit. Recreates both the G and E Series Oxford Console bus compressors using four reverse-engineered SA-202C discrete VCA "gold" cans (two in gain reduction, two on sidechain). The British Mod adds two Carnhill output transformers with BA283 output cards (as found on 1073 preamps) for low-end warmth. The American Mod adds four SA-2520 op amps with steel 2503 transformers for punch. A third clean position bypasses transformers entirely. Features 5 ratio settings, 5 release settings, true stereo sidechain, 5-position HPF, mix blend knob, and Sifam knobs. Hand made in Chile.
