The Stam Audio SA-3A+ is the only 1:1 sounding replica in the world of both the beloved UREI LA-3A and UREI LA-4 in a single dual-channel unit. The LA-3A is the all-time favorite electric guitar compressor; the LA-4 is one of the greatest acoustic guitar comps on the planet. Uses custom US-made transformers, Kenetek T4B cells by Bill Jones (super stereo matched pair), and UK-made Carnhill output transformer. The LA-4 circuit uses a Vactrol element for more transparent compression. Includes stereo link, high/low gain, flat/HF selector, bypass, and limit/comp selector (ratio 4:1 to 8:1 on LA-4). Hand made in Chile.
