SA-76D-5
The Stam Audio SA-76D-5 is the most authentic reproduction of the iconic UREI 1176 Rev D in a convenient 500-series format. Featuring a fully discrete signal path that follows the original schematic, the unit uses a Sowter input transformer — an identical sounding replica of the original and unobtainable UTC O-12 — and a custom US-made 5002 output transformer that precisely matches the frequency response of the original. Built with Vishay capacitors, 1% metal film resistors, and hand-selected transistors to guarantee faithful sonic reproduction. Compression ratios of 4:1, 8:1, 12:1, and 20:1 are available along with the all-buttons-in mode. Controls include adjustable input, output, attack, release, and a dry/wet blend control. Each unit is handmade in Chile with a 2-year warranty and 30-day money-back guarantee.
