The SA-16 represents Stam Audio first major original design, moving beyond recreations to create a unique product addressing modern studio needs. As DAW-based production became standard, engineers sought ways to recover the analog depth lost in digital mixing. The SA-16 was developed to provide professional analog summing at a price point accessible to project studios, using the same discrete Class A philosophy that defines Stam clone products.

The Stam Audio SA-18 is an 18-channel active summing amplifier that embraces the best of three iconic console flavors. Seamlessly switch between three fully discrete output stages: Clean/Oxford-style solid-state with THAT CORP line drivers, API-style with legendary SA-2520 op amps and US-made AP2503 steel transformer replicas for punchy mid-forward sound, and Neve/BA-440 British style with 33609 output stage and EU-made LO116 "N" output transformers for massive low-end warmth. Three balanced stereo insert points, stepped output level control, D-SUB connectors. Hand made in Chile and Italy.
