The Stam Audio EQP-1AM is a mono 1:1 sounding replica of the two most beloved equalizers in history — the all-tube Pultec EQP-1A and the solid-state Pultec EQP-1A3-SS — in a single unit. Also includes the mid-band of the Pultec MEQ-5 with both boost and cut capability. Unlike any other Pultec replica, features fully stepped input and output controls, both solid-state and tube make-up gain, allowing switching between the API 2520-driven sound and the traditional tube sound. Uses 2 Sowter audio transformers, one Moby output transformer, US-made 2503-style output transformer, 3 tubes including 6X4 rectifier, and 2 SA-25 op amps. 72-hour burn-in. Hand made in Chile.
