The Stam Audio 312+ is a dual-stage two-channel preamplifier featuring a 1:1 replica of a vintage API 312 card from the 1970s. The first stage is a fully discrete replica with custom US-made transformers, a Stam SA-25 op amp (reverse-engineered 13-transistor Huntington 2520), and no coupling capacitors. The second stage is the console line amplifier in rack format. Each unit is loaded with two custom US-made AP2622 1:7 input transformers and four custom US-made quadfilar AP2503 output transformers with steel laminations. Offers 60dB of gain, DI, 48V phantom power, 20dB pad, and polarity switch. Hand made in Chile.
