First production SSL console (6 built, 1976–1980). Introduced fader automation and a programmable tape-locator computer, and the 'Listen Mic' compressor (LMC) circuit — the source of the gated-reverb drum sound (Phil Collins / Hugh Padgham, Townhouse). Buyers included Abbey Road, Le Studio, and Kendun.
