When engaged, Drive mode introduces rich saturation that responds dynamically to mic pre gain, making it perfect for pushing vocals, guitars, and drums to the front of the mix. The high-pass filter is particularly useful when tracking, helping to eliminate unwanted low frequencies that consume digital headroom. Both fader paths include dedicated channel direct outputs and fully balanced switched inserts for adding outboard gear to your recording or monitoring signal chain. During mixdown, the small fader path can be routed to the mix bus, effectively doubling the console’s 32 channels to 64.
