Ace Electronic Industries Inc., orAce Tone, was a manufacturer ofelectronic musical instruments, includingelectronic organs, analoguedrum machines, andelectronic drums, as well asamplifiersandeffects pedals. Founded in 1960 byIkutaro Kakehashiwith an investment by Sakata Shokai, Ace Tone can be considered an early incarnation of theRoland Corporation, which was also founded by Kakehashi.Ace Tone began manufacturing amplifiers in 1963.
