Overview

Korg introduced the Minilogue in 2016 as an affordable four-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer, responding to renewed interest in analog synthesis. This compact instrument offers genuine analog oscillators, filters, and amplifiers with modern features like USB MIDI and a built-in oscilloscope display. The Minilogue brought polyphonic analog synthesis to an unprecedented price point.

The instrument features two VCOs per voice, a low-pass filter, envelope generators, LFO, and a simple delay effect. The 37-key velocity-sensitive keyboard and comprehensive control panel provide immediate access to all parameters. Eight voice modes including polyphonic, unison, and arpeggiated expand creative possibilities.

The Minilogue has sold over 100,000 units, becoming one of the most successful analog synthesizers in history. It demonstrated that genuine analog polyphony could be manufactured affordably without sacrificing sound quality.
