The GRP A8 is GRP's original flagship and one of the largest analog synthesizers ever made (127 x 67 cm), a mono/duophonic bi-timbral monster hand-built in very small numbers (around 22-23 units). It packs six VCOs with six sub-oscillators, four VCFs, seven envelopes, three LFOs, two fixed filter banks, sample-and-hold, dual ring modulators, dual auto-pan and an integrated step sequencer, with full MIDI and CV/Gate. Developed from 2009 and shipping around 2010, it established GRP's reputation; it has since been succeeded by the A10.
