SQ-2

SQ-2

1991

The Ensoniq SQ-2 is a 76-key digital synthesizer workstation built on Ensoniq's sample-based (ROM waveform) synthesis engine with up to 32-voice polyphony and multitimbral operation. It pairs that sound engine with a built-in 16-track sequencer, dual digital filters, and an onboard 24-bit effects processor. As the largest member of Ensoniq's SQ family, it offered the same engine as the 61-key SQ-1 in a full 76-note velocity- and aftertouch-sensitive keyboard, positioning it as an affordable all-in-one performance and recording workstation.
