The Ensoniq SDP-1 is a 76-key sampled digital piano introduced in 1986, offering 10-voice polyphony with a weighted, velocity-sensitive keyboard. Its sounds are stored in permanent memory and include three acoustic piano variations, a Rhodes-style electric piano, clavichord, vibraphone, marimba, and two bass voices. It features stereo output with a separate bass output, a chorus effect, MIDI, and an unusually included two-pedal pedalboard offering both sustain and a rare sostenuto pedal.
