Pro-Cussion

The Ensoniq Pro-Cussion is an extremely rare early-1980s digital drum machine, generally described as a 1984 prototype built before Ensoniq's better-known Mirage-era products. It uses 8-bit PCM rompler samples for its drum voices (bass, toms, snare, hi-hats, cymbals, cowbell) with 8-voice polyphony and a built-in 16-step pattern sequencer. It has no MIDI and is a distinct, far rarer product from the much more common E-mu Procussion MIDI sound module of 1991.
