KT-88
1994
The Ensoniq KT-88 is the 88-key, fully weighted-action member of the KT-series workstations, the larger sibling of the 76-key KT-76. It pairs Ensoniq's Transwave synthesis and a 64-voice engine drawn from a 16-bit PCM wavetable (including two sampled pianos, organs, and vintage synth sounds) with a 16-track sequencer, 13 effect algorithms, and General MIDI support. Its piano-weighted keybed and controller-grade feel made it well suited as both a standalone gigging workstation and a master MIDI keyboard.
