The Ensoniq KS-32 is a 76-key performance synthesizer built around the SQ-1/SQ-2 sound engine, distinguished by a weighted, piano-style Fatar keybed designed to emulate the hammer feel of an acoustic piano. It pairs 32-voice, velocity- and pressure-sensitive polyphony with 167 ROM waveforms (including dedicated 16-bit acoustic piano samples), dual multimode digital filters, and Ensoniq's 24-bit ESP effects chip. An onboard 16-track sequencer and MIDI master-keyboard controls round it out as a self-contained MIDI studio workstation.
