KMX-8

The Ensoniq KMX-8 is a programmable standalone 8-input by 8-output MIDI patchbay and router in a single rack space. Any input can be routed to any or all outputs, and it can merge the MIDI data arriving on inputs 1 and 2. It stores 30 routing patches recallable from the front panel or via MIDI Program Change, and supports SysEx storage; a larger 15x16 KMX-16 model was also offered.
