EPS-16 Plus rack
1990
The Ensoniq EPS-16 Plus rack is the 3U rackmount version of Ensoniq's 1990 sampling workstation, offering the same 16-bit sampling engine, seven sample rates from 11.2 kHz to 44.6 kHz, and 20-voice polyphony as the keyboard, with 8-part multitimbral operation. It includes dual multi-mode digital filters, a stereo effects processor, a 16-track sequencer, a 3.5-inch floppy drive, SCSI support, and additional auxiliary outputs. It let studios and live rigs deploy the EPS-16 Plus's affordable 16-bit sampling and onboard DSP in a space-saving rack.
