ASR-88

1994

The Ensoniq ASR-88 is an ASR-10 fitted with a fully-weighted, pressure- and velocity-sensitive 88-note piano-action keyboard, aimed at players wanting realistic keyboard feel. It retains the ASR-10's 16-bit stereo sampling engine (up to 31 voices, 8-part multitimbral, 30/44.1 kHz), dual multimode filters, and DP/4-based effects, while adding a standard SCSI interface and shipping with fully expanded 16 MB of memory. It is functionally identical to the ASR-10 apart from the keyboard, SCSI, and maxed-out RAM.
