Connecting EIIIX to a Pre-formatted Hard Disk

1. Position the SCSI device and the EIIIX in a stable location.
2. Connect the SCSI device to your EIIIX using a quality SCSI cable (50-pin Centronics).
3. Turn on the external SCSI device.
4. Wait about five seconds, then apply power to the EIIIX.
5. Press LOAD BANK, use the data slider to scroll through the available presets, and press ENTER to load the desired preset to verify the connection.
6. Connect the EIIIX to your audio mixer and MIDI setup.
