A 32MB expansion sound ROM designed by sound designer Rob Papen that blends techno and dance instruments with acoustic instruments and percussion. It offers a fusion of electronic and acoustic sounds aimed at contemporary music production across multiple genres.

A 32 MB expansion sound ROM developed in collaboration with B-3 virtuoso John Novello, featuring a diverse collection of Hammond tone wheel organ drawbar settings sampled both direct and through rotary speakers (chorale and tremolo at various speeds). It contains 3 banks of 128 presets each plus 140 instrument definitions, offering extensive customization of classic B-3 organ tones. Factory demo tracks include "Swingin' B-3" and "B-3 Medley."

A 32 MB expansion sound ROM (SIMM module) collecting sounds culled from ENSONIQ's Urban Dance Project and Real World libraries originally made for the ASR and MR keyboards and racks. E-MU sound designers reprogrammed these legendary presets for the current E-MU line, organized into 4 banks. All presets are set up to control synthesis and filter parameters via the real-time controllers found on E-MU modules, command stations, and keyboards.

An exceptionally detailed sampled acoustic piano created using E-mu's proprietary "Virtual Model Sampling" process, which captures individual sonic components — hammer action, pedal mechanics, and sympathetic resonance — then reassembles them for heightened realism. The ROM contains 128 presets optimized for various musical styles plus 40 raw instrumental variations. A larger CD-ROM version of the library was also offered separately through Q-Up Arts.

It installs as a sound SIMM (code 13, labeled/displayed as "PHATT") providing 4 banks of instruments.

The ROM ships as a SIMM expansion accompanied by a Modules Upgrade CD for installing the necessary software updates.

The X-Lead is a 32MB expansion sound set (SIMM ROM) consisting primarily of analog, noise, and modern synthesizer waveforms rich in harmonic texture, designed to pair with the Z-plane filters in Proteus sound modules. It is the ROM/SIMM version of the Xtreme Lead-1 sound bank and adds dynamic and rhythmic content accessible via an included software upgrade and the module's controller knobs.
