- Disconnect the instrument from the power source.
- Remove the eight wood screws securing the bottom cover and remove the cover.
- Inspect the keyboard compartment for dirt or debris. Blow out with air if necessary.
- Clean the gold-plated contacts using a solution of isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab.
- If corrosion persists, clean the bus bar with a soft pencil eraser.
- Avoid touching the bus bars or spring contacts with bare fingers.
- Reinstall the bottom cover.
