- Balance the Micromoog on its nose so the rear panel is up with controls facing you.
- Connect to amplifier, turn on, and warm up for 10 minutes.
- Oscillator Range: Set Oscillator to Drone, Octave to 2', Fine Tune to Vertical. Compare pitch to F above high C (700Hz). If Fine Tune requires significant movement from vertical, adjust the OSC RANGE trimpot.
- Oscillator Scale: Depress and hold LO F. Zero beat with reference 2 octaves below using Fine Tune. Depress and hold HI F and adjust OSC SCALE trimpot for zero beat.
- Oscillator High Frequency: Depress LO F and zero beat with F5 (700Hz). Depress HI F and adjust OSC HI trimpot for zero beat. Repeat steps 4 and 5.
- Oscillator Octave Step: Depress LO F and zero beat with F5 using Fine Tune. Set Octave to 16' and adjust OSC OCT trimpot for zero beats.
