- Emphasis: Set Filter Mode to Full, Emphasis control to 10, and Volume to 10. Turn Emphasis trimpot fully CCW. Sweep Cutoff from -5 to +5. After each sweep, turn Emphasis trimpot CW until no oscillation occurs. Switch Filter Mode to Tone and sweep Cutoff to ensure it oscillates over full range.
- Filter Scale: Set Octave to 8'. Depress LO F and zero beat by turning Cutoff slightly. Depress and hold Middle F (F4, 350Hz) and zero beat with FILTER SCALE trimpot.
- Filter High Frequency: Set Octave to 2'. Depress LO F and zero beat using Cutoff. Depress Middle F and zero beat using FILTER HI trimpot.
- Filter Octave Step: Depress LO F and zero beat using Cutoff. Click oscillator Octave switch to 16' and adjust FILTER OCT trimpot for zero beats.
